With the traditional wedding season already winding down we at Spitting Pig are already preparing for next year’s season. With wedding catering being so special there is not a second to waste with planning our services for customers, so our Spitting Pig teams across the country have already been out meeting a lot of you out at wedding fairs this past week. We’ve taken great delight in meeting folk, chatting about good food, and most importantly getting down some future bookings for weddings and other events.
With our thanks to the likes of our partners in wedding catering, such as Red Event Wedding Planning and The UK Wedding Event, our Spitting Pig teams have been able to come out to meet customers in person and showcase the best of ourselves. As a caterer we regularly work alongside wedding planners like the aforementioned two firms, who both held their own excellent wedding fairs last weekend with Red Event hosting out of the Formby Hall Golf Resort just north of Liverpool, and The UK Wedding Event setting up their fair at the grand York Racecourse. Working with these planners allows us to spread our name out to other customers, and also work with other venues that we might not otherwise have gotten to speak to. They also afford us the excellent opportunity to attend their wedding fairs when they host them.
These fairs are enjoyed by every Spitting Pig team because it is a day that offers something of a different speed to our regular days out catering. With a wedding fair we get to spend the day just chatting to people, which is something as a caterer we always love doing. We also aren’t having to put on a full service, so it can be slightly more laid back, but we do get the joy of sometimes handing out free hog roast samples which is always a lot of fun as we often get to witness people tasting it for the very first time.
Spitting Pig had a great time out at both Formby and York taking in plenty bookings, and so we would just like to thank both those that came out to see us, and our partners who invited us!
