This past weekend the Hog Roast Torbay team were overjoyed to be able to end the wonderful Lupton House events house for their wedding fair. Out at the picturesque, perfect white stately manor of Lupton House more than 30 vendors played host to guests for the afternoon, each showing off what they could provide to wedding events for brides and grooms to be. That’s a lot of competition for the Hog Roast Torbay team to match up to, but with our free samples catching the eye and the taste buds we reckon we more than held our own as we were delighted to book in a number of guests for future dates at Lupton House and other sites.
We’re all about spectacle here at Hog Roast Torbay, so when it comes to these kind of events where plenty of other vendors are vying for guest attention we know that we can catch the eye. For one it is difficult for most to simply pass by our beautiful whole hog roast as it cooks on our mobile spit without stopping to admire its splendour. Even better when they get to enjoy a fresh taste from it too!
Our colourful platters also help to catch the eye, as we pile up wooden boards with finely sliced Italian meats and delicious cheeses alongside greens for added colour, artisanal breads and our oils too. Guests get to see and eat a small taste of what we can provide to their wedding while our incredible team also fills them in on our other services and relevant information. We’re there to put on a show, just as we are wedding events themselves to put on a show too!
These kind of events are great for caterers like ourselves because it allows us to showcase our product against direct competition and show the very best of ourselves while also directly booking in new events for the future. Event for those guests that don’t book in with us on the day, once we have Hog Roast Torbay in their heads they quite often call us up at a later date or recommend us to their friends and family. Anything to get the Hog Roast Torbay name out there even more! We would like to thank Lupton House for the opportunity and will be back for events in future.
