With it being February the year is now fully underway, which as a caterer means it is time to start looking ahead to wedding season.
Spitting Pig, like most other caterers, places a lot of importance on our wedding catering service. Wedding catering is among the most lucrative in the industry; it is the first thing that most people think of when you say the word catering, and high-level wedding catering is highly sought after by customers as just about everyone wants the very best for their special day. As a caterer, we have our own high demands for wedding catering too. We love any opportunity we can get to stretch our wedding catering capabilities.
With a view to booking up plenty of wedding slots for the rest of the year, Spitting Pig often takes this time of year to get our name in the door with as many wedding fairs as possible. These are incredible for guests to come and get face to face time with potentially hundreds of vendors dedicated to providing high-end wedding services. It’s a great way to sort through the chaff of online searching and instead get time with services that you know already come recommended from those in industry. Sometimes these fairs are held out of actual wedding venues too, meaning the services are coming recommended specially from them, and you are getting to see what the venue looks like as an event location too!
February sees a tonne of these events popping up, and Spitting Pig is already scheduled to be attending quite a few of them. One of our team, for example, will be attending The Wedding Showcase at Willerby Hall, while another will be at The Big Northampton Wedding Show later this month. We can’t wait to meet the attendees, dish out some free samples, and talk about all things wedding and dining.
