Rewarding hard work doesn’t have to be complicated – and it definitely doesn’t have to cost a fortune either. If you’re looking for a simple way to show your staff how much they’re valued, a great spread goes a lot further than people expect.
At Hog Roast Tyne and Wear, we’re on a mission to help businesses, big or small, turn their corporate events into something special – without slapping on a luxury price tag to match. We’re big believers that proper farm-to-table dining and meals cooked fresh on-site using premium quality free-range ingredients should be the standard, not something out of reach, and with thousands of successful bookings under our belt, we’ve more than earned our stripes in this field. None of that quality shows up as a nasty surprise on the invoice, and if you ask our customers, that’s one of the reasons that keeps them coming back to us.
The other reason? Our food is genuinely out of this world – just ask Smulders Projects. This international construction firm has trusted us with their events for years now, and recently we teamed up again, this time catering for an impressive guest list of 425.
Big numbers don’t faze us. Hog Roast Tyne and Wear is well used to large-scale events, so this one was water off a duck’s back for the crew. To keep things moving smoothly and avoid a bottleneck at the buffet, we split service into two sittings, running from 11:30am through to 4pm, with a breather in between from 2pm to 3pm.
Once service got going, guests filled their plates with cheese-covered beef burgers, gourmet sausages, Thai-spiced chicken kebabs, marinated spareribs, and homemade veggie burgers, so there was plenty to go round whatever people fancied. The variety had guests going back for more, as well as the chance to load up on sides including Greek salad, creamy coleslaw, and a mix of sweet potato and traditional fries, with no shortage of sauces to round it all off.
By the end of the day, it was clear the food had done its job – and once again, Smulders Projects were reminded exactly why they keep choosing Hog Roast Tyne and Wear.
