At Hog Roast Southam we are firm believers in supporting local business. After all, we are one ourselves! Our catering business has served the Southam and Buckinghamshire area for several decades now. We have been privileged enough to be well supported by many of our fellow residents and peers in the working world.
One such peer is the fine folks at Tool Connection, based here in Southam. Tool Connection have been excellent corporate customers of Hog Roast Southam for a while now. Time and again they have called upon our specialist corporate catering services for their company. Having built a special relationship with them in that time, last week they chose Hog Roast Southam once more for a massive two days of lunch catering!
Celebrating 50 years of business and the launch of a very special 50th anniversary collection, the Tool Connection team reached out to the Hog Roast Southam team to help mark the occasion. We were only all too happy to join them; 50 years for a local business is something that should be well celebrated, so we knew our dining had to be up to scratch!
With the event split across two days, we figured what better a route to go than with our gourmet BBQ range. 100 guests were expected the first day and 115 expected the next. That’s a tonne of burgers, sausages, kebabs, and skewers to get flipped! Thanks to the size, power, and versatility of our mobile roasting machines however, we can have a lot of foods on the barbecue at once. That meant very little waiting time between servings, with food always coming out fresh, hot, and delicious for the Tool Connection team.
Guests were able to enjoy beef burgers, gourmet sausages, chicken kebabs, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, BBQ pulled jackfruit, our chef’s own pasta salad, a light and refreshing Greek salad, and helpings of regular and sweet potato fries. As the Tool Connection team lined up for their special lunch, the Hog Roast Southam simply kept the food coming from 12.30 on until everyone had enjoyed their fill, be it for one roll/wrap, two, or even three if wanted – and it was certainly wanted!
