Quite Ending To The Week

Good Afternoon its Wednesday the 5th of October 2011 and time for another spitting pig blog here from Spitting Pig Headquarters.

We are already half way through the week, the lovely sunshine has unfortunately come to an end with showers of rain forecasted for the rest of the week and we have even heard that snow is making and appearance on Friday!!!!!!! not to worry though, if you were thinking of booking a hog roast for your special event within these next few months we can actually work outdoors and indoors too so if the weather is not up to scratch for you our catering team will check your venue is well ventilated and if so we can cook your hog indoors.

This week seems to be going by super fast I thought I would write another Blog for all of you while I had the chance….:) we have been very busy on the telephone lines and we have had many emails this week, when we are busy here in the Spitting Pig office the time goes much faster , luckily for us it is Thursday tomorrow and the telephone lines seem to become less busier as the week comes to an end, this always gives us time to catch up on enquiry forms and gives us time to reply back to any of the questions you may have for either us or our catering team.

Weekend Events In The October Heat Wave

Good afternoon and welcome to the first spitting pig Blog of the week so far its Tuesday the 4th of October 2011 and the weather is back to its usual self after a record breaking weekend of heat as we headed into October.

We hope you all had a good weekend….. as we had a great weekend of fun catering at events this weekend!!! with the barbeque menu was the most popular menu of all for last week

So as the day is coming to an end here in the spiting pig office the telephone calls and emails seem to be dying down after this mornings flood of enquiries from the weekend giving us time to get back on track which means I have time to tell you about one of the events we catered for this weekend.

100% Beef 6oz Handmade Burgers, Chefs Own Gourmet sausage Thai Chicken Kebabs & Meaty Marinated Spare Ribs all went down a treat with the hungry guests especially the children we catered for on Saturday at a 10th birthday party in the hot Sun. The client we catered for and her husband were extremely pleased as they said children are very fussy eaters but nothing seems to beat  good barbeque food when it has been cooked on one of our machines, the children and parents enjoyed the food so much that they were coming back for seconds even thirds until the food had all been eaten. They also guaranteed that they would be calling back for the next occasion they have. Another extremely happy costumer and were hoping that you will be the next.
