Good Morning and welcome to the final Spitting Pig Blog of the week so far. Its Friday the 30th of September 2011.

The sun is shining which is quite unusual for the end of September as it has been a record breaker and its going to be staying hot as we enter the first week of October, still the days are getting shorter and shorter and winter is just around the corner however there is no need to worry as we have everything you need to have a “bit of a do” with our  fantastic seasonal food great for work/business parties in December.

Good morning Blog Readers and welcome to another Spitting pig Blog its Thursday the 29th of September 2011.

 It seems to be a little quiet today on the call lines and even the Emails today but it always tends to be at the end of the week. And with the hot sunny weather outside all our customer’s are probably out enjoying it whilst it lasts, so it is understandable that its quiet here in the spitting pig office however when the weather is bad the rain keeps people indoors which means more calls and enquiries for us.

 We have a number of functions we are catering for today and tomorrow evening a Local bingo hall are having a quiz night on Friday and have asked us to do the food, so plenty good hearty hog roast grub.

Good afternoon spitting pig Blog readers its Wednesday the 28th of September 2011 The weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter this week with Friday and Saturday being the hottest as we head into October.

which is great news for us here at spitting pig headquarters as this is keeping us very busy taking many bookings for the weekend the telephone seems to be going crazy.

We have an outdoor garden party booked for this Saturday which the catering team will be attending as the he host has actually decided to book this in earlier than he had planned as we all know the scorching weather wont last long, he said this way it will be a great outdoor event with no rain to worry his guests take a look at our most popular menu this week.

Good Morning and welcome to another Spitting pig Blog its Thursday!!!!! which means of course its almost the weekend.

We have had lots of last minute hog roast machine hire enquires for this weekend coming through on the telephone this morning, we always try our best to provide a solution to all of our customers which decide to book last minute.

A client called today and decided a simple hog roast would be perfect and what she would prefer to have at her sons birthday party this Sunday.

This way the day runs as smoothly as it can, and everyone enjoys the day as much as they possibly can as they are not having to worry about cooking the food as our Spitting Pig chef will  prepare and carve the chosen meat which in this case is our most popular Spit Roasted Pig Served With Apple Sauce, Stuffing & Crispy Crackling. We will lay the serving table with tablecloth and napkins and all our rubbish will be cleared away discretely and taken off site once the meat is cooked served and enjoyed by all.

 If you would like to try out one of our Hog roast machines for this weekend you can still hire machinery from us but hurry to avoid disappointment.

Good Afternoon spitting pig Blog readers!

 Its Wednesday the 21st of September 2011, Its warm outside, the sun is shining and this week seems to be flying by as we are half way through the week already!!!

The time seems to fly by when we are busy busy busy  here at spitting pig and today  I went on a trip to our factory this morning for a meeting with the technical team . 

Together we have been working on some new designs and ideas for our machines again and discussed them at today’s meeting which was all very exciting. 

This evening I shall be hitting the road once again as I am delivering a few machines in the local area.  Many of our new customers are wanting their machines before the weekend so they can test them out so I am delivering a few myself.

 Its always nice to meet our new clients in person and it also gives us the opportunity to discuss their new purchase with them which is one of my favourite parts of the job as I am always happy to answer any of their questions if they have any, share our hog roasting knowledge,  wisdom and help them get the very best out of their brand new Spitting Pig hog roast.

Hello and welcome to the latest Spitting Pig blog.

Its Tuesday the 20th of September and its another dull rainy day here at Spitting Pig headquarters.  I’m glad to say I don’t have any outside catering jobs booked in for this afternoon as the weather is terrible!  But I do however have an indoor Beef roast this evening (as the machines we hire and sell can be used both indoors and outdoors.  To cook indoors all we need is a reasonably well ventilated area and we are ready to create a meat roast feast for our clients and their guests)

We have many different meats available to chose from on our menus such as Turkey, Chicken, Lamb, Pork and also roasted sirloin of  Beef, as our client tonight does not like pork she has decided to choose beef for her engagement party celebration tonight.

The roasted sirloin of beef  is served with Horseradish Sauce and Homemade Red Wine Gravy. Which will be cooked to perfection and also served with  Fresh Vegetables and also Warm New Potatoes in Herb Butter.

We are sure that the bride to be and her guests will enjoy the meal tonight.

Our Hog Roast Machines

Good afternoon and hello Spitting Pig blog readers. 

Its Thursday the 14th of September 2011, hope you are all having a good day the sun has been trying to make an appearance all day not that I am complaining of course as it has been raining all week. 

 The office is very busy today.  This week we seem to have had lots and lots of enquiries for both catering and for machine sales, a customer called earlier telling me he hired a hog roast machine before from us with one of our chefs to cook the meat and he enjoyed it so much he has decided to now buy a hog roast machine as he said our machines make the perfect meat.

I am pleased to report that the hog roast machine side of the business is continuing to do exceedingly well we have  had people coming back to us for a second, third or even tenth machine because our machines are not like any other hog roast machines.  They are safe, reliable,  very easy to use and outstanding quality. 

When on catering events we only use hog roast machines and machine accessories that have been designed and manufactured by ourselves because we no that by using competitors products we would not achieve the best possible hog roast for our catering clients we believe our machine accessories are quite possibly the best on the market .

Perfect Party Menu For Surprise 30th Birthday

Hello and welcome to the latest blog from the Spitting Pig team.  We are having a busy Wednesday both in and out of the office today.  The office telephone is ringing off the hook and the email inbox is overflowing with new enquiries from old and new customers!  Whilst this is going on myself and another hog roast caterer are out and about catering an exciting mid week event. 

We are travelling to a surprise birthday party just a few miles away from the Spitting Pig office.  It’s a surprise 30th birthday party for a lady who we have met before as we catered her wedding breakfast and evening buffet when she got married two years ago.  Her husband got in touch with us a couple of weeks ago and explained he had planned a party in secret and invited 50 family members and friends to help celebrate.  He requested that we provided the birthday feast as they were so pleased with the catering and service we provided at their wedding.  Obviously we were more than happy to oblige and we are serving up our popular party menu for the surprise 30th birthday today. 

Instead of a hog roast we have been asked to do spit roasted chickens as this is the birthday girls favourite.  We will serve our juicy, cooked to perfection chickens with some home made stuffing and rich onion gravy as well as a variety of quality bread rolls.  This will make the perfect party snack.

Early Christmas Bookings

Good morning  blog readers and welcome to the first spitting pig blog of the week so far.

Its Tuesday the 13th of September and we hope you had a great weekend as we are back in the office today. 

We spent all weekend working mostly outdoors in the cold, wet and windy conditions!

But never mind because despite the less then perfect weather conditions we have still lots of events to cater for this week and weekend especially.

In the office today we’ve been quite busy taking many bookings for this  December as it seems that many people are getting work parties booked in plenty of time for the festive season.

Christmas is our favourite time of year here at spitting pig as it is one of our busiest times, and even though we are only in September many of the companies that have booked this morning are companies that choose us year after year to provide a delicious party menu for their works annual party, they’re booking early to guarantee the event will be catered by us.

The weather has turned once again for the worse(not good)!!

The office today is a bit on the quiet side but it is Thursday and the weekend is just around the corner.

Last night I catered for another amazing hog roast event which was a slightly more formal style than the event I catered for on Monday. 

The client last night had requested private party menu four for his formal evening menu 4 is a tasty hog roast meal with all the trimmings but served as a sit down dinner.

We also provided fine silverware and china for the dinners to enjoy their hog roast feast.

My team of staff  did their usual first class service.
