April, May and June has brought us some much welcomed sunshine which has made our outdoor catering a much more pleasant experience.  Also the improved weather must have got everybody in the mood for hog roasting as there has been a huge boom in business and the office has received a vast number of enquiries.

The month of April brought us the usual Easter events to cater for.  Including Good Friday and Easter Sunday family parties, bank holiday Monday barbecues and other Easter themed events.  This Year was different as we also had the Royal wedding.  The extra bank holiday and the national celebration brought us lots f business and we are proud to say we helped many people all over the UK mark the special day in style as we catered at lots of street parties and other events. 

The end of April and the beginning of May not only brought us extra bank holidays it also brought some surprise sunshine and most of the country were treated to one of the hottest Springs ever.  The combination of the beautiful weather and the extra days off work certainly put our customers in the party mood and we were inundated with last minute requests for our catering services and machine hire service.  So whist most of the nation relaxed and enjoyed the extra days holidays myself and the rest of the Spiting Pig team were working flat out...... We are not complaining though its always a pleasure to be kept busy. 

Now as we enter into June business is still ding extremely well.  It seems wedding season is officially here and wedding catering is sure to kept us more than busy this Summer with lots of confirmed bookings already and more coming through every single day.  Through June, July, August and September we have at least one wedding already confirmed and booked each weekend.  Another type of event that we have lots of bookings for in June is BBQ catering at private parties.  Although our hog roasts are what we are famous for and still our most popular menu option our BBQ menus are always popular in the Summer months.  We have also added new options to our BBQ range and they really have gone down a treat.
