Wedding catering has always made up a large percentage of the events that we cater for and this year is no exception.  Each and every day we receive enquiries from people all over the UK wanting information and prices on our wedding menus and packages.  It seems that the hog roast continues to be a popular feature of weddings in 2011.  As we also see enquiries coming in for 2012, 2013 and even 2014 it seems that the trend is set to continue for the next few years as everybody is opting for a hog roast to mark their special day.

A definite trend we have noticed in 2011 in the wedding catering trade is that more and more people are choosing less formal styles and opting for relaxed buffet styles more and more.  Luckily for our customers we are able to offer all styles of wedding catering.  From the formal, traditional sit down menus with all the works, which is perfect for a classic wedding breakfast to our relaxed, fun party packages which are ideal if you wish to feast on a informal buffet. 

Another reason why the party packages and buffet style hog roasts are being used more and more is simply because of another wedding trend that is ever popular this year.  The trend of marrying abroad has being going for years and years but this season it seems more couples then ever are jetting off to warmer, more exotic destinations to say "I do."  Of all British couples who got married last year 20% of these did so in another country.
Often this is done with just a handful of close relatives and a large wedding p[arty is often held upon the couples return to celebrate the marriage.  For this reason the event tends to less formal and again many couples opt for quality party food rather than the wedding breakfast style feast.
